Help St. Jude Research Hospital – and Learn “Ukemi”

Todai Dojo is hosting a fundraising event to benefit St. Jude Children Hospital. All proceeds will go towards fighting childhood illness. THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL AGES.

In martial arts, there is what’s called “ukemi”. This simply means how to “recieve the ground” to protect one’s self from injury. We know it better as “rolling” or “tumbling”. Shidoshi-Ho Merlin Allen will be going through Ukemi drills to keep you safe while getting a great workout.

This event is open to the general public. We only ask that you make a donation to St. Jude prior to participating. No Donation is too small.

DATE: 3/23/13

TIME: 10:00am – 1:00pm

WHERE: Todai Bujinkan Dojo

If you can’t make it, we still ask if you can share this event with your friends to raise awareness regarding the good work that St. Jude does for children. You can view the event and RSVP on our Facebook Page.
